Early Foundation

Dani’s career began immediately after graduating with a BS in Computer Science in 1998. Combining technical expertise with a passion for visual storytelling, he pursued advanced studies in Digital Imaging and Multimedia while launching his career in web design and computer graphics.

By 2002, Dani had developed a distinctive approach to photography, founding specialized baby photography studios in Lebanon. This work required more than technical skill—Dani studied child behavior and psychology to create authentic, meaningful portraits. The fusion of technical precision and human understanding would become a defining characteristic of his work.

Recognition and Growth

Dani’s achievements in design and multimedia earned both Golden and Silver Trophies at the Lebanon Web Awards, recognizing excellence in an emerging digital landscape. His photography expanded beyond specialized baby portraiture to encompass cultural documentation, portraiture, and nature photography across multiple countries.

During this period, Dani operated two major photography studios in Lebanon and planned expansion to Canada in 2006, demonstrating early entrepreneurial vision and international scope.

Corporate Experience

Dani brought his web development expertise to the corporate world, spending seven years as a web developer at one of Canada’s largest banks. This experience provided exposure to enterprise-scale systems, security considerations, and the discipline of building reliable digital infrastructure.

His technical toolkit expanded to include industry-level proficiency in PHP, ASP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML—skills that would prove essential for future platform development.

Digital Ventures: The First Era

Parallel to his corporate career, Dani pursued his vision of creator-focused digital platforms:

JEAK (Founded 2001)

A pioneering web portal focused on content creation, launched when the digital landscape was still emerging. The name itself—”Jump Easily At Knowledge”—reflected Dani’s belief that digital platforms should empower learning and creation. JEAK served as early proof that spaces for creators to gather, learn, and contribute could enrich both individuals and communities.

Advanced Education

Dani pursued a Master’s degree in Computer Science from California State University, Fullerton, graduating in Fall 2015. This advanced education refined his technical expertise while providing frameworks for approaching complex problems systematically.

Music Lake Radio (Founded 2015)

Launched upon completing his Master’s degree, Music Lake Radio is a mood-altering audio experience featuring downtempo music, ambient synths, and natural sounds. The project demonstrated that digital platforms could serve functional needs while creating emotionally resonant experiences, combining Dani’s technical skills with his understanding of how environment and mood affect human experience.

Expertise Consolidation

Over the following years, Dani consolidated his expertise across web development, UX-UI design, digital marketing, photography, graphic design, and social media. This interdisciplinary approach—combining technical proficiency with visual design and user experience understanding—positioned him uniquely to address emerging challenges in the digital workspace.

JEAK Reimagined

In July 2023, Dani relaunched JEAK with an entirely new vision, pivoting from its original content creation focus to meet the challenges of the AI revolution. JEAK emerged as an exclusive directory for all things Artificial Intelligence, aimed at demystifying AI for users worldwide.

The relaunch demonstrated Dani’s ability to evolve platforms to meet emerging needs. Each of the ten main categories and fifty-two subcategories were carefully curated and structured to ensure easy access to the right knowledge. The project was as complex as it was rewarding—organizing the rapidly expanding AI landscape into navigable, accessible resources.

This reimagining of JEAK reflected over two decades of experience in information architecture and user-centered design. More importantly, it positioned Dani at the forefront of AI implementation and understanding, expertise that would prove essential for ROUMS.

ROUMS

The remote work revolution created a universal challenge: professionals needed control over their virtual presence without compromising privacy or investing in expensive physical solutions. ROUMS emerged from Dani’s recognition that this problem required both technical expertise and design sensibility.

Drawing on decades of experience building digital platforms, understanding visual composition through photography, recognizing user needs through UX design, and implementing AI technology through JEAK’s transformation, Dani created ROUMS as a comprehensive solution. The platform leverages AI to generate purpose-built backgrounds while maintaining the human-centered design philosophy that has defined his career.

ROUMS now collaborates with artists and designers worldwide, reflecting the same creator-focused vision that launched JEAK over two decades earlier. The platform continues to evolve, with video backgrounds and themed collections in development.
